My career began at 17 as a journalist for my local newspaper. Since then, my work has been featured online and in print internationally in major magazines, books, blogs, brands, and my own projects.
As a teen, I fought stage IVB cancer, the experience of which continues to shape both the way I live and the way I write. I continually strive to better the lives of others, including survivors, through advocacy, public speaking, and my own personal stories.
